Why Songfinch quotes both $179 and $199.99

The homepage headline (“starting at $179”) matches the cheapest artists on the roster. The FAQ’s “start at $199.99 USD” is closer to what most orders cost: 15 of the 24 artists shown charged $199 or more. Budget around $200 to $250 for a typical Songfinch song, more if you pick a well-known artist or need it faster.

Is Songfinch worth the price?

Songfinch is built around a real artist writing and recording your song, and you choose who. If that performance is the gift, the price buys something a quick service does not. If what matters is the story and the names in it, a deadline this week, or hearing the song before you spend anything, a cheaper service is the safer bet.
