When Songfinch is the better choice
If you want to choose a particular artist, browse their past work, and you have a week or more before the date, Songfinch is built for that. You pay more and you wait longer, but you are commissioning a named musician.
If the date is close, if you want to hear the song before paying, or if the budget is closer to a nice dinner than a weekend away, TunedForYou fits better. Plenty of people use both: one for a wedding they planned months ahead, the other for a birthday they remembered on the day.
Questions to ask yourself before choosing
- How many days until the occasion?
- Do you want to pick a specific singer, or just the genre and mood?
- Is hearing it before you pay important to you?
- Is the song in English, or another language?
Can I get a song the same day?
With TunedForYou, yes, usually within minutes. With Songfinch, standard delivery is up to 7 days and faster delivery costs extra.
Which one lets me hear the song before paying?
TunedForYou plays you a preview before checkout. Songfinch has no instant preview: you order, then wait for the artist to deliver.
